a warm welcome to all visitors of the web pages of the Regional Board of Education in the town of Trencin. The purpose of our web pages is to provide you with important information in the sphere of education.
Regional Board of Education was founded on January 1st of 2004 by course of law of NR SR No. 596/2003 codex of Civil Service in the education of municipality, appended of statutory laws of later regulations.
The office is non-profit organization, established by Ministry of Education of Slovak Republic that cooperates with a municipal region of Trencin, with the boards of education, communal boards of education, authorities of local state of administration, all the other founders of schools and educational institutions within their regional activity, other organizations, institutions by the provision of common tasks in the sphere of education.
It is established on provision of performance of specialistic of local state administration in the sphere of education.
Regional board of education in Trencin has, as of this year, at their grantor activity,
2 vocational schools, 1 special educational facility, 1 elementary boarding school for students with speech constraints, 12 special basic schools, 7 centers of special- pedagogic consulting, 10 centers of pedagogic - psychological consulting, 1 high-school based upon international agreements, and 2 secondary schools
In terms of quoted law, the regional board of education in Trencin observes, besides its own settlor responsibilities, additional activities too – safeguards financing of schools and scholastic facilities in the region, supervise effectiveness of utilization of financial resources allotted to settlors for schools, executes inspections over provision of other activities, tasks of towns and self-governing region associated in the sphere of education, issues methodical directions for schools and for settlors of other schools in the region.
